Wedding and Reception at the Epic Hotel / Miami
Happy New Year from DJ Marc Evans!!! On December 31, 2017 New Years Eve, I had the honor to celebrate the wedding day and the New Year with Ronald and Kenza Guvara. The wedding was held at the Epic Hotel in Miami on Biscayne Bay. The ceremony was held on the top deck of the hotel over looking Miami and Biscayne Bay where the area was lit up with Bistro Lighting, set up over the ceremony provided by Eddie B & Company. There was a singer there providing songs for the prelude and processional as I played the recessional which was Love on Top by Beyonce and the mic set up for the brother of the bride, Omar who was the officiant.
Cocktails were held on the 14th floor where the celebration was already in full effect for a great night. Once cocktail hour ended, guests danced into the main room where the LED up lighting was Lavender and Cyan Blue, provided by Eddie B & Company, which created a warm atmosphere around the room. The bridal party along with Ron and Kenza danced into the min room to Marry Me by Bruno Mars. The first dance was to Perfect, by Ed Sheerhan and Beyonce. Kenza danced with her dad her to What a Wonderful World as I then mixed into Hit The Road Jack as they did a little dance routine. Ron danced with his mom to Elton John, Your Song. The toasts were made, the courses were being served and the Strike A Pose Photo Booth, provided by Eddie B & Company, was opened operated by Chris as he helped guests take pictures and use party props as they signed the album with pictures and then he provided it to the bride and groom.
The party began as we celebrated the wedding and New Years as guests dance till 11:30pm to All Genres. At 11:30pm, guests were invited to watch fireworks at 12am on the the top of the hotel with Ron and Kenza along with champagne to break in the New Year. Then the guests came back into the main room and danced till the last song, Boys II Men, End of the Road. Great night celebrating with Ron and Kenza into the New Year with DJ Marc Evans.
