Wedding and Reception at the Flamingo Gardens
Saturday evening November 18th at the Flamingo Gardens in Davie Florida is where the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception for Andrew and Katy was held under a well lit tree with pelicans roaming the gardens and DJ Marc Evans helping to provide an unforgettable wedding day for two special people. The ceremony took place with the bridal party walking down the aisle to Over the Rainbow by Israel K. and then Katy walked down the aisle to the instrumental of Your Song by Elton John done by a Violin and Piano. Once married, Katy and Andrew walked back down the aisle to Could You be Loved by Bob Marley. Cocktail hour was happening with games for both adults and kids as well as some Reggae music.
The guests were invited into the reception room that was highlighted with Cyan Blue LED up lights provided by Eddie B & Company. I introduced the bridal party to Bring em Out by T.I. then Andrew and Katy to Everlasting Love by Carl Carlton. The first dance as husband and wife was Everlong by Foo Fighters the acoustic version and then I proceeded to invite all the guests to join in followed by the father daughter dance to Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton and then the mother son dance to A Song For Mama by Boys II Men.
Guests were then asked to be seated as the toasts were made by the best man and the maid of honor and then the food stations were open for all to enjoy.
Following the main course the party got started as Andrew did a father daughter dance with his daughter Payton. Then everyone joined in as the dance music was from all genres, rocked the party. From Old Time Rock & Roll, Love Shack and music from the 90's and top 40 dance music, the party kept moving till the cake cutting ceremony. Andrew and Katy cut the cake to Better Together by Jack Johnson, the garter and bouquet were to Another One Bites the Dust and Where Dem Girls At.
Andrew and Katy were very happy with the music I played and the motivation I provided them to encourage the guests to get up and dance. The family and friends danced all night long to the sounds of DJ Marc Evans of Eddie B & Company....
