Wedding and Reception at the Fountains Country Club

Christina and Douglas Desautell celebrated their wedding at the Fountains Country Club in Lake Worth, FL on 8/30/2019.  Approximately 100 close friends and family members arrived to the Fountains that Friday late afternoon and were directed to the indoor ceremony.  After the ceremony everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers at the cocktail hour.  Our very own Brian Henry provided the smooth/live steel drum sounds for that hour then all of the guests were invited to the ballroom for the grand entrance and the reception.  Christina chose 2 separate songs for both sets of parents, Drogba by Afro B for the bridal party intros and Runaway by Galantis for her and Douglas' intro.  The first dance was to Love Story by Taylor Swift then Christina danced with her dad to Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion and Douglas danced with his mom to You Are The Sunshine Of My Life by Stevie Wonder.  The toasts were given by Tracy (maid of honor) and Parker (best man) then both dads gave a welcoming speech (English and Creole) and the blessing of the meals.  Everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal.  Christina did provide me with a play list that included top 40, classic rock, alternative dance, Kompa and oldies.  Great mix of genres for this excited group of guests.  As the evening progressed we did have a cake cutting ceremony and the garter/bouquet toss.  I also took some requests for some of the newer group dances.  Christina requested Can't Help Falling In Love With You by Elvis as the closing song for the evening as all of the remaining guests gathered on the dance floor for a final send-off.
