Wedding and Reception at the Frances Langford Pavilion / Jensen Beach

All the way from Jensen Beach at the Frances Langford Pavilion, It's me again the virtual DJ Marc Evans. I celebrated with Adam and Ashley Souza as they got married by their Pastor over looking the inlet on probably the most beautiful day in South Florida, in front of 140 guests. The bridal party and the bride walked down the aisle to Endless Love by Luther Vandross and Mariah Carey. When the bride and groom were pronounced husband and wife, I played as requested, the recessional by Mendelsohn, to end with the traditional wedding song. For cocktail hour, the bride and groom wanted some steel drum music since cocktail hour was outside over looking the water which was fitting for the scenery. Once cocktail hour was over, I invited all guest to find their seats as I lined up the bridal party and introduced them to The Brain as I call it a very upbeat song to get the guests motivated. I then introduced Adam and Ashley to Jock Jamz and everyone was pumped as they made their entrance. The first dance for the bride and groom was "Then" by Brad Paisley. I invited all 140 guests to Join them and we had a packed dance floor during the first dance and they were all ready to Party. After the first dance the bride danced with her mom to I Loved Her First by Heartland. I then proceeded to invite the Groom and his mom to the dance floor as they danced to The Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra. After the dance we did the prayer before the meal and then the food stations were opened for all. During dinner the bride asked that I play some country tunes such as Alabama, Adele, Tim McGraw, George Strait and many others. Following dinner, the best man and maid of honor did the toast and then we danced the rest of the evening. The choice of music was country, a lot of hip hop and a lot of disco. Top 40 was not their choice of music but the guests did all line the dances. The Wobble, Cha Cha Slide, Macarena, Electric Slide and the Cupid Shuffle. Disco was very popular as well as the top songs from the sixties, Shout, and many more. At the end of the evening the bride asked that I play the song from Alabama, Close Enough to Perfect  .Another happily married couple who enjoyed the sounds of Marc Evans. For me the Virtual DJ Marc Evans, I will prepare for next weeks weddings in Ft. lauderdale and Deerfield Beach.
