On Saturday April 14th, 2012 I played for Kristin and Justin Worth and 120 friends and family members at Frenchman's Reserve Country Club in Palm Beach. The evening started out with dark clouds and a threat of rain for the outdoor ceremony. Thank God it held back and we proceeded as planned. The parents and grandparents walked to "Wonderful Tonight" by the Vitamin String Quartet, for the bridal party it was "Can't Help Falling In Love" by the Vitamin String Quartet, and for Kristin I played the "Bridal March" by Jonathan Cain. During the ceremony there were a few readings and a violin solo "Ave Maria" performed by bridesmaid Tasji Isaacs. Once Kristin & Justin sealed their vows with a kiss, it was "Anyway You Want It" by the Vitamin String Quartet for the recessional. For cocktail hour it was Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra, and various jazz tunes. Then the party started with an introduction of the bridal party to an instrumental version of Party Rock Anthem. Kristin and Justin danced to "Oh Love" a duet by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, for their first dance. Carlos Maglione (F.O.B.) made his welcome speech and then there were toasts presented by Kristin's 2 sisters and the 2 best men. Kristin danced with her father to "Daddy's Little Girl" by Michael Buble and Justin danced with his mother to "A Mother's Song" by T Carter Music. Later the cake was cut to "Sugar Sugar" and the garter bouquet was a variety of songs selected by the B & G. Justin put on a show removing the garter with a variety of props he had secretly brought with him, and it went over big! The music format was a little bit of everything from Top 40 dance to Classic Rock, and Retro 80's tunes. Everyone enjoyed the two hour mix of songs I played to keep the dance floor on a roll. I also provided Amber up lighting to add some character to the room. I want to thank Pat and her staff at the country club for her hospitality and help throughout the evening. Congrats once again to Kristin and Justin, they are off to St. Lucia....DJ/MC Eddie
