Ali and Adam Vicent celebrated their dream wedding at the Gleneagles Country Club in Delray Beach, FL on 5/12/2018. This amazing wedding began with an outdoor ceremony where approximately 130 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple tie the knot. The cocktail hour followed immediately after and as all of the guests mingled I played a mix of Rat Pack favorites. I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 amber, LED, wireless up lights, LED dance floor lights and a monogram with their initials all provided by Eddie B & Company. As the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 31 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Ali chose Bring 'Em Out by T.I. for the bridal party entrance and Good Life by G Easy for her and Adam's into. The first dance was to Better Together by Jack Johnson then Ali danced with her dad to Father and Daughter by Paul Simon and Adam danced with his mom to My Wish by Rascal Flatts. The toasts were given by Martie (maid of honor) and Josh (beast man) then Ali's mom, dad and step-dad gave the welcoming speeches and the blessing of the wine and Challah. Everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal. Ali provided me with a short play list and asked that I take requests and play to her guests. Needless to say the dance floor got packed very quickly after dinner as I played a mix of top 40, disco classics, classic rock, country and 90s pop hits. What an amazing/fun group of guests I had that evening. They danced the night away and only took a breather for the wedding cup cake cutting (no garter/bouquet toss). The last song for the evening was Closing Time by Semisonic and everyone gathered on the dance floor for a final send-off!
Congrats to Ali, Adam and the entire Vicent, Spiegel, Friedman, Shiffman and Higgins families.
Special thanks to the staff and management at the Gleneagles Country Club for their attention to detail and their amazing service.
