Amanda and Michael Shapiro celebrated their wedding at the Harriet Himmel Theater in Palm Beach, FL on 1/2/2015. This amazing wedding began with a beautiful ceremony (indoors) where approximately 130 friends and family members witnessed the happy couple tie the knot. Soon after, all of the guests were directed to the second floor for cocktails and appetizers. As Amanda and Michael posed for pictures, I decorated the reception area with 24 amber colored, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. After the cocktail hour all of the guests were invited back down to the reception to prepare for the grand entrance. Amanda chose Right Round by FloRida for the bridal party entrance and Club Can't Handle Me by FloRida for her and Michael's entrance. The first dance was to Two Is Better Than One by Boys Like Girls then Amber and her dad and Michael and his mom danced to Time After Time by Sarah McLachlan. The toasts were given by Kristen (maid of honor) and Stephen (best man) then everyone found their seats and were treated to the first of a 3 course meal. Amanda did provide me with a play list that included top 40, classic rock, 80's dance hits, 90's hip-hop and r&b. As soon as all of the guests finished up the entrées the dance floor erupted!! This group was very high energy and danced to all of the different genres I played. There were 2 special birthdays that evening. One was for Jessica (Amanda's friend) and at 12 midnight we all sang another Happy Birthday to the bride herself, Amanda!! The cake cutting and the garter/bouquet toss were performed later on in the evening and that gave everyone time to catch their breaths before returning to the dance floor. The closing song for the evening was Good Riddance by Green Day as all of the remaining guests gave Amanda and Michael a group hug!!! Great way to end an amazing wedding!! Congrats to Amanda, Michael and the entire Shapiro family. Special thanks to the staff at the Harriet Himmel for providing such excellent service!!
