Good Day Bloggers!
This past Saturday I had the pleasure of hosting another great wedding ceremony and reception. This awesome event was held at the beautiful Hilton Hotel on the 17th Street Causway. As the guests entered the room for the ceremony, they were greeted by beautiful quartet musuc by the Vitamin String Quartet. The room was bathed in orange lights provided by Eddie B. & Company.
The ceremony was very special with Camille and Robert exchanging their own personal vows.
After the ceremony, the cocktail hour started and I played some great R&B hits.
For the reception, I asked the guests to enter the room with some Brazilian House music playing in the background.
The bridal party entered to "Uptown Funk" by Bruno Mars and then Camille and Robert came in with "Treasure" by Bruno Mars. They went into their first dance "1000 Years" by Christine Perri. I then invited everyone to find their seat so we could do the Blessing before dinner.
during dinner I was instructed to play some light R&B, Reggae and standards. It went over very well.
After Dinner I started the dancing with some requested Haitian music. It was a hit and the dance floor stayed packed all evening.
I played a lot of Haitian, Reggae and Hip Hop.
I also played some oldies like Michael Jackson.
The Father Daughter dance was "I lover her first" by Heartland and Robert danced with his mom to "A Mother's Prayer" by Celine Dion.
But it was the Haitian music that was the real winner with this crowd!
A great time for a great couple!!!!
