The Ft. Lauderdale Beach Hilton was the venue for Jim and Pamela Rappold's wedding ceremony and reception on 12/14/2014. The ceremony took place outdoors overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on the 3rd Floor of the Hilton. Approximately 30 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple tie the knot then were invited to the cocktail hour where they enjoyed cocktails, appetizers and the steel drum sounds of our very own Mr. Brian Henry. During cocktail hour, Jim and Pam posed for pictures while I took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 lt. blue colored, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. The reception ballroom was located on the first floor, so after the cocktail hour all of the guests made their way down and prepared for the grand entrance. Pam chose Let's Get It Started by The Black Eyed Peas for the bridal party intro and I Gotta Feeling by The Black Eyed Peas for her and Jim's intro. The first dance was to All Of Me by John Legend then Pam danced with her dad to I Loved Her First by Heartland. The toasts were given by Jim's two best buddies John and Jim then Jim gave the blessing before the meal. Everyone settled in for a 3 course meal as I played a few easy listening/jazz tunes. Pam and Jim did provide me with a great play list that included top 40, disco, classic rock, 70's and 80's hits and country. What a great selection of music for this group who danced and partied hard all night. The happy couple did cut their wedding cake but did not have a garter/bouquet toss. Instead we performed the anniversary dance then it was back to the dance floor for more fun. The dancing continued until the closing song which was Last Dance by Donna Summer and all of the remaining guests gave Pam and Jim and group hug on the dance floor. Congrats to Pam, Jim and the entire Rappold and Kimmel families. Special thanks to the staff at the Hilton for their excellent service.
