Jimmy and Tanya Hudson were married on 9/10/2011 in Key Largo at the beautiful Hilton Grande Resort. The ceremony area was breathtaking as all of the guests took their seats. Jimmy and Tanya performed their vows practically on the beach in a secluded cove behind the hotel property. Two of the groomsmen played the acoustic guitars as Tanya and her dad walked down the aisle. It truly looked like a ceremony made in paradise. After the ceremony the bridal party and immediate family stayed for pictures as the rest of the guests headed for the cocktail hour. Appetizers and drinks were flowing as Tanya and Jimmy joined their guests after the pictures were done. As the guests entered into the reception ballroom I lined the bridal party up for the grand entrance. The bridal party entered to On The Floor by J Lo and the bride and groom entered to Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Jimmy and Tanya then danced to I Cross My Heart by George Strait. Tanya and her dad danced to The Way You Look Tonight by Maroon 5 and invited all of the dads and daughters to join them. Jimmy danced to I Hope You Dance with his mom and also invited all of the moms and sons to join them on the dance floor. The bestman, maid of honor and Tanya's dad Jeff made 3 beautiful speeches then Tanya's good friend Vanessa performed Mama's Song by Carrie Underwood for the newlyweds. After salads and main course the dance floor opened up for some dancing. Tanya provided me with a list of her favorite songs which included top 40, dance, country, hip-hop and oldies. It was a mix of songs that were perfect for this crowd. We also performed a few group dances like Cha-Cha Slide, Shook Me All Night Long, The Cupid Shuffle, Cotton Eyed Joe and Boot Scootin' Boogie. After garter/bouquet toss and cake I invited all of the married couples to the dance floor for the anniversary dance. I am proud to say that Jimmy's mom and dad Wanda and Randy Hudson were the last couple standing with 45 years of marriage. After some more dancing we ended the night with Save The Last Dance by Michael Buble. Congrats to Jimmy and Tanya for your storybook wedding in the Keys. I am glad that I was selected to be the DJ for this event..it was magical!!!
Also I can't say enough about the staff and catering department at Hilton Grande Resort. They truly are a 5 star facility and they treat their customers with the utmost respect. I can't wait to work with that crew again!!
