Wedding and Reception at the Hilton Hotel / Singer Island

Angelica (Angie) and Nicolas (Nick) Johnson celebrated their big day at the Hilton Hotel in Singer Island, FL. on 2/17/2013.  This wedding had a little bit of everything!!!  Approximately 100 of Nick and Angie's relatives and close friends witnessed a very beautiful ceremony on the beach where Angie walked down the isle to Sweet Child of Mine by The Vitamin String Quartet.  Angie and Nick selected Finally Found You by Enrique Iglesias as the recessional song then everyone was invited to the cocktail hour.  Angie requested steel drum music for the cocktail hour and a mix of Bob Marley oldies for dinner music.  All of the guests were soon directed to the reception area for the grand entrance.  As everyone took their seats I lined up the 28 member bridal party and they entered to Down by Jay Sean.  Nick and Angie chose Shipping Off To Boston for their intros then went right into the first dance.  They selected I Won't Give Up by Jason Mraz then Angie danced with her dad to My Little Girl by Tim McGraw and Nick danced with his mom to That's What Momma's Do by Jason Matthews.  The toasts were given by Erin (maid of honor) and Sean (best man) then both dads made two extremely funny welcome speeches.  They had everyone laughing hysterically!!  The first of three courses was served and the reception was under way.  I was not provided with a play list but I did take requests and played a mix of top 40, old school classics, classic rock, country, merengue, salsa, reggaeton and bachata.  This crowd was high energy all night long.  The dance floor was full most of the night because of the great music and everyone was trying to stay warm!  Nick and Angie did perform the cake cutting and the garter/bouquet toss later on in the evening.  Finally Found You by Enrique Iglesias was also the closing song for the evening.  Very popular song and obviously one of Nick and Angie's favorite songs.  Congrats to Nick, Angie and the entire Rodriguez, Malomo, Zavala and Johnson families!! You guys know how to PARTY!!!
