Wedding and Reception at the Historic Maxwell Room

Jessica and Stephen Cushing celebrated their dream wedding at the Historic Maxwell Room in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 1/10/2020.  This fun wedding began with an outdoor ceremony in the courtyard.  Approximately 80 guests witnessed the ceremony then they were all invited into the Maxwell Room for the cocktail hour and reception.  I played a mix of Disney Instrumental Classics and I also decorated the ballroom with 20 amber, LED, wireless up-lighted an dance floor  lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  Jessica, Stephen and the bridal party made their grand entrance then the happy couple danced to Yours by Russell Dickerson.  Jessica then danced with her dad to Somewhere Over The Rainbow by Katherine McPhee and Stephen danced with his mom to My Wish by Rascal Flatts.  Everyone found their seats and prepared for a breakfast style buffet (on a Friday night) PRICELESS!!  Jessica did provide me with a small play list and asked me to take requests from her guests.  I payed a mix of top 40, country, 70s and 80s dance hits and classic rock.  Perfect mix for this very fun group of guests.  There was no garter/bouquet toss but they did have a cake cutting ceremony and surprised their guests with an all you can eat cupcake table.  The closing song for the evening was Closing Time by Semisonic and that put a bow on a nice Friday night Maxwell Room wedding.  Congrats to Jessica, Stephen and the entire Cushing and Johnson families.
