Kevin and Alison's wedding reception at The Historic Stranahan House in Ft. Lauderdale on Nov 10th
Kevin and Alison's wedding was held at The Historic Stranahan House in Ft. Lauderdale on November 10th. The cocktail and reception area were brought to life by amber colored decor lights at the bride and groom’s request, matching perfectly with their floral centerpieces. The guests were seated under a beautiful sea-grape tree decorated with hanging lanterns, where the ceremony took place that evening. Alison walked down the aisle with her father to an acoustic version of Can’t Help Falling in Love with you. The newlyweds exchanged rings and vows before celebrating their marriage to Ring on every Finger by Locash. After some pictures it was time to introduce the bridal party and the newlyweds. The guests were encouraged to get really loud as I welcomed the new Mr. and Mrs. Wojtanek as they walked in to My House by Flo Rida. The cheering continued as I invited them to the middle of the floor for their first dance. Kevin and Alison embraced each other as I played Don't by Darius Rucker. Alison’s father was invited soon after to join his daughter in the father daughter dance to Little Miss Magic by Jimmy Buffet followed by Kevin and his mother Marigene to My Wish by Rascal Flatts. After the first dances, I invited everyone to the dining area for their first dinner course, while the Best Man, Maid of Honor, and father of the bride shared very heart-warming toasts and we all sang Tiny Bubbles by Don Ho after a story of a jaw-dropping performance by a 5 year old Alison. After dinner, we kicked the party off with a very entertaining garter and bouquet toss. After that we continued the party while I played a mix of country and dance party favorites for all the guests to enjoy. I closed everything out to It’s Raining Men by The Weather Girls as we all sang along before ending the evening. Congratulations to Kevin and Alison Wojtanek. I had a blast with you and your awesome family. DJ ELOW
