Wedding and Reception at the Holiday Isle / Post Card Inn

On Friday May 20th I was back in paradise in the Florida Keys at the Post Card Inn playing for Julie and Tyler Grimes and 40 family members and friends. We started the evening with a ceremony on the beach. The bridal party walked to "Marry Me" by Train and Julie walked to "You Are The Best Thing" by Ray LaMontagne. Once they sealed the deal with a kiss I played "This Must Be the Place" by the Talking Heads! Cocktail hour was a mix of tunes from all genres from a play list Julie provided for me. I introduced the bridal party to "Sweet Emotion" by Aerosmith and the newlyweds to "Now That We Found Love" by Heavy D & the Boyz! Their first dance was "Warm Love" by Van Morrison and Tyler also dance with his mother Melodie to "In My Life" by the Beatles. After a few toasts and dinner we got the party rockin' with a variety of dance tunes old & new. The highlight of the evening was when Julie rapped to "Busta Move", "U Can't Touch This" and "Ice Ice Baby", along with a choreographed dance! She was AWESOME! The cake was cut to "Sweetest Thing" by U2 and the final song was "Seasons" by Future Islands. Congrats and all the best to Julie & Tyler! DJ/MC Eddie B!
