The Post Card Inn in Islamorada, in the Keys FL hosted the wedding of the year on 11/30/2012. Thais and Richie Centauro held their dream wedding there in grand fashion and celebrated along with 160 of their close friends and family members. The ceremony took place on the beach right next to the reception tent over- looking the Atlantic Ocean. When Thais walked down the isle with her dad it was magical. After the ceremony all of the guests were directed to the cocktail hour tiki hut for drinks, appetizer and the one and only Brian Henry on the steel drums with a live performance. Brian Henry along with the blue and lavender LED Up-Lights for the tent and dance floor lights were included in the wedding package provided by Eddie B & Co. Soon after the cocktail hour the guests made their way into the big tent for the reception. The tent was decorated beautifully (please see pictures on the web site) and the guests were ready to party. I lined up the 21 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Thais chose Everything Tonight by Pitbull and Ne-Yo for the bridal party entrance and We Found Love by Rihanna for her and Richie. The crowd went wild when Richie and Thais entered to the dance floor and went right into the first dance which was When Love Takes Over by Kelly Roland and David Guetta. Richie requested that the bridal party join them half way through the song. Thais danced with her dad to I Loved Her First by Heartland then she danced with her step-dad to The Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra. Richie then danced with his mom to A Song For My Son by Mikki Viereck. The first course was served and the reception was under way. The toasts were given by Lisa (maid of honor) and Joey (best man) between the fist and second courses. Thais and Richie provided me with a short play list of their favorite artists and left it up to me to chose the right songs. After the main course the dance floor opened up and it remained packed all night. I played a ix of top 40, progressive dance, techno, disco, house and classic rock. Richie and Thais really went all out on their big day. They hired a Brazilian Carnival Show dance team to perform for 45 minutes and also a fire dancer for another 30 minutes. Everyone seemed to have a great time even the 3 brides that attended the wedding from the 4 Weddings show. It was brought to my attention during the ceremony that the show 4 Weddings on the TLC Network were on set filming for one of the episodes. One of the brides approached me and told me that her wedding was in 2 weeks and that our very own DJ Handel Douglas was going to perform at her wedding. Not surprised that 2 of the 4 weddings for that particular episode have 2 Eddie B and Co. DJs. Amazing!! After the cake cutting and the garter/bouquet toss the dance floor got packed once again until the end. Everyone was having such a great time that Richie and Thais decided to add an hour overtime. Since most of the families and guests that attended are originally from NY, the last song was of course New York, New York by Old Blue Eyes. A perfect way to end the perfect wedding!! Congrats to Riche, Thais and the entire Brubaker, Galliani and Centauro families. This is one wedding that I will remember forever!! DJ Ray
