Leydi and John Fortini celebrated their wedding at the Intercontinental Hotel in Miami, FL on 10/15/2017. The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the 150 guests were invited to the hotel for the cocktail hour and reception. I played a mix of tropical/easy listening tunes during the cocktail hour while all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. Myself and Chris took this time to decorate the ballroom with 24 amber colored, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights, a monogram with their names and the wedding date and our signature "Strike A Pose" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom for the reception I lined up the 28 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Every couple in the bridal party was introduced to a different song then Leydi and John entered to I've Had The Time Of My Life from the Dirty Dancing Soundtrack. The first dance was to Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers then Leydi danced with her dad to Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion and John danced with his mom to A Song For Mama by Boyz II Men. The toasts were given by Linda (maid of honor) and Joseph (best man) then everyone found their seats for a 3 course meal. Leydi did provide me with a short play list and asked that I get her guests partying and to have fun. I played a mix of top 40, latin favorites, 80s and 90s dance hits and old school hip-hop. Great mix of genres for this fun/up-beat group. There was no garter removal but they did have the bouquet toss and the cake cutting ceremony as the night progressed. Everyone really enjoyed the photo booth that evening and almost filled up the album. The closing songs for the evening were Last Dance by Donna Summer and my all time favorite New York, New York by Frank Sinatra. Congrats to Leydi, John and the entire Fortini, Garcia and Rende families.
Special thanks to the amazing staff at the Intercontinental Hotel for their 5 star service!!
