Wedding and Reception at the Islander Resort / Islamorada

Diana and Craig Hannula celebrated their wedding at the Islander Resort in Islamorada Key, FL on 5/13/2022.  Approximately 60 close friends and family members arrived to the resort and were directed to the beach-side ceremony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.  The cocktail hour took place on the beach also.  I played a mix of tropical tunes while they all enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 royal blue, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 10 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Diana chose Ready or Not by The Fugees for the bridal party intros and Regulate by Nate Dogg for her and Craig's intro.  The first dance was to Better Together by Luke Combs then Diana danced with her dad to You'll Always Be My Baby by Alan Jackson and Craig danced with his mom to Have I Told You Lately by Rod Stewart.  The toasts were given by Marisa (maid of honor) and David (best man) then everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal.  Diana did provide me with a play list that included top 40, country, classic rock and 90s hits.  What a fun group of guests I had the privilege to play for that Friday the 13th...LOL. The cake cutting (no garter/bouquet toss) was performed as the evening progressed and I also took a few requests for couples dances.  The last songs for the evening were Brandy by Looking Glass and Closing Time by Semisonic.  Perfect ending to a perfect wedding.
