Wedding and Reception at the Jacaranda Country Club

Julia & Jeffery Thorpe celebrated their wedding at the Jacaranda Country Club in Plantation, FL on 1/7/2023.  This amazing wedding began with an indoor ceremony in the ballroom then all of the 125 guests were invited to the cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers.  Julia and Jeffery posed for pictures while they all mingled and enjoyed a mix of Yacht Rock tunes.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 16 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Julia chose Where The Party At by Jagged Edge for the bridal party intros and Crazy In Love by Beyonce for her and Jeffery's intro.  The first dance was to Change Your Name by Brett Young then Jeffery danced with his mom to A Song For Mama by Boyz II Men.  Everyone found their seats then Alexis (MOH) and Charlie (BM) gave the toasts before the main course was served.  Julia did provide me with a play list that included top 40, R&B, Hip-Hop, latin favorites and country.  Great mix of genres for this fun/electric group of guests.  The dance floor opened up and the non-stop dance party was officially on.  The cake cutting and the bouquet toss (no garter) were performed as the evening progressed along with requests for some of the newer group dances.  As I played Last Dance by Donna Summer all of the guests made their way outside for a glow-stick send-off.

Congrats to Julia, Jeffery and the entire Thorpe family.
