Another unforgettable wedding at The Jupiter Beach Resort!!! This time it was Adam and Jamie Gerulff who celebrated their wedding with 80 close friends and family and what a night it was. The festivities began with a beautiful outdoor ceremony in a little cove by the ocean. Jamie looked beautiful in her wedding gown as she walked down the isle with her dad to Angel by Jack Johnson. Everyone's jaw dropped when they saw her. After the ceremony everyone made their way to the cocktail hour which was also outdoors under a canopy overlooking the pool. The music requested for that time was a few tropical tunes mixed in with smooth jazz. As the cocktail hour came to a close and all of the pictures with the immediate family were taken, all of the guests were invited to the main ballroom for the grand entrance. I lined up the very excited 14 member bridal party for the intros. Jamie chose We Are Family by Sister Sledge for the parents intros, Nothin' But a G-Thing by Snoop Dogg for the bridal party intro and 54-46 by Toots and The Maytals for her and Adam's intro. Everybody went wild!! The happy couple went right into the first dance which was I Won't Give Up by Jason Mraz then Jamie danced with her dad to There You'll Be by Faith Hill and Adam danced with is mom to Forever Young by Bob Dylon. The 2 maids of honor (Jenn and Katie) and the best man (Matt) gave the very funny toasts, then Aunt Alice gave the blessing before the meal. The first of three courses was served and the party was in full swing. The play list that was provided to me had some great dance genres that included classic rock, reggae, top 40, funk and r&b. Adam and Jamie decided to skip the garter/bouquet toss and the anniversary dance because the guest did not want to stop dancing. The last songs for the evening were The Time by The Black Eyed Peas and Closing Time by Semisonic. After the wedding Adam and Jamie and their parents have me a huge hug and thanked me for making their day so special. I really appreciated the gesture and told them that this was my first time working at the Jupiter Beach Resort and the staff should take some of the credit. Thanks to Juan the banquet captain and Juan the audio/visual expert, for also contributing to this perfect event. Thanks again guys and I hope to work with you again...very soon!!!! DJ Ray
