Good Day Bloggers!
DJ Gregg with this week's installment of the wedding blog. On Saturday I had the pleasure of being the DJ for Kyle and Kelly's wedding. They were married at the beautiful Jupiter Beach Resort in Jupiter Fl. This venue is very nice with breathtaking views over the ocean! As the guests arrived, they were escorted to the dunes behind the resort. Here is where the ceremony was performed. I played some Reggae instrumentals for the prelude as requested by Kyle and Kelly.
Soon after, the ceremony started with the entrance of the bridal party. I played "So This Is Love" by the Neverland Orchestra. Then Kelly walked down the sand. I played "Grow Old With You" by United Guitar Players. The ceremony was very sentimental. The officiant was Kelly's brother David.
Once the ceremony ended, I played "My Girl" by The Temptations.
Now we went inside for cocktail hour. I played some cool beach music to set a nice tone.
Once that ended, I invited the guests into the main ballroom. I looked great and was illuminated with Cyan Blue LED Up-Lighting, provided by Eddie B & Company!
Once everyone was settled in, I proceeded to invite the bridal party in for the "Grand Entrance" During this time, I played individual songs for each couple. Then Kelly and Kyle entered! For this, I played "Bring EM Out" by T.I. The guests erupted with applause!. I then proceeded to ask Kyle and Kelly to start the first dance. They picked "Harvest Moon" by Neil Young. Then I invited Kelly to dance with her father. They requested " The way you look tonight" by Frank Sinatra. Soon after that Kyle and his mom danced. they chose "Never Alone" by Lady Antibellum.
Shortly after that I asked Jenna, Dan, and Hal to say a few words. They all toasted Kyle and Kelly with love and reverence!
Now dinner service has started. During this time I played some standards, old school music and more island tunes
Once dinner was finished I played a couples song to get everyone up and then I hit the ground running! I am happy to say that this was a very happy and fun group of guests! I was able to play music from all generations, and everyone danced!
It was a really memorable evening and I wish Kyle and Kelly the best!
