Wedding and Reception at the Key Largo Lighthouse

Tavia and Zach Nellis celebrated their wedding at the Key Largo Lighthouse in Key Largo, FL on 1/23/2021.  Approximately 50 close friends and family members arrived to the venue that Saturday afternoon and were directed to the beachside ceremony.   After the ceremony all of the guests made their way to the tiki bar for the cocktail hour while the happy couple posed for pictures.  While everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers I decorated the reception area with 20 amber, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests made a big circle around the dance floor I lined up the 12 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Tavia chose Kokomo by The Beach Boys for the bridal party and their intros then they went right into the first dance which was I've Got This Friend by Civil War.  Tavia then danced with her dad to I'll Stand By You by The Pretenders and Zach danced with his mom to The First Lady In My Life by R. John.  Everyone was invited to the reception area for a buffet style dinner and that is where Amber (matron of honor) and AJ (best man) gave the toasts.  Tavia did provide me with a nice play list that included top 40, heavy country tunes and 80s and 90s dance hits.  Great mix of genres for this very energetic/drinking group of guests.  The dance floor filled up quickly after dinner and the only time they took a break was for the cake cutting ceremony.  They were having so much fun that I was asked to stay an extra hour.  What an amazing wedding.  Congrats to Tavia, Zach and the entire Nellis and Ver Boort families.
