Heather and John Gibbs celebrated their wedding at the Key Largo Lighthouse in Key Largo, FL on 1/27/2021. The beachside ceremony was witnessed by approximately 30 close friends and family members then they were all invited to the cocktail hour at the tiki bar. I played a mix of tropical tunes while they all enjoyed drinks, appetizers and a beautiful sunset. All of the guests made a big circle around the dance floor and prepared for a grand entrance. Heather chose Uptown Funk by B. Mars for the bridal party intro song and Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder for her and John's intro. The first dance was to Tie Me Down by Taylor Holbrook then all of the guests were invited to the reception area for a buffet style dinner. The toast/welcoming speech were given by Amy (MOB), Ed (FOB) and by Heather and John themselves. After dinner the dance floor opened up and they really enjoyed the mix of genres that I played that night. Heather did take the time to dance with her dad to Landslide by Fleetwood Mac then John danced with his mom to You're Gonna Be by Reba McIntire then we all gathered with the happy couple for the cake cutting ceremony. They also performed the garter/bouquet toss as the evening progressed and I took requests for country line dancing songs...PRICELESS!! The closing song for the evening was We Are Family by Sister Sledge and that put a bow on a fabulous Wednesday night Keys wedding.
Congrats to Heather, John and the entire Gibbs and Brown family.
Special thanks to the staff at the Lighthouse for always providing excellent service.
