Molly and Axel Oquendo celebrated their wedding at the Key Largo Lighthouse in Key Largo, FL on 12/16/2021. This fun wedding began with a beautiful beach ceremony where approximately 40 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple tie the knot. At the cocktail hour all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. I played a mix of tropical tunes while myself and Juan set up our "Open Air" photo booth and our "Cold Sparktacular" effect. I lined up the bridal party and I had all of the guests make a big circle on the dance floor for the grand entrance. Molly chose Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars as the intro song for the bridal party and for her and Axel also. The first dance was to Truly, Madly, Deeply by Savage Garden then Molly danced with her dad to You'll Be In My Heart by Phil Collins and Axel danced with his mom to Stand By Me by Ben E. King. All of the guests then made their way to the reception tent for a buffet style dinner. Antonio Oquendo (father of the bride) gave the welcoming speech and the reception was under way. Molly and Axel asked me to take requests and to play to their guests. I had fun playing top 40, salsa, reggaeton and some of the newer group dances. As the evening progressed we did have the cake cutting and the garter/bouquet toss. The closing song for the evening was Perfect by Ed Sheeran and that put a bow on a nice Thursday night Key Largo wedding.
Congrats to Molly, Axel and the entire Oquendo and Manchester families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Lighthouse for always providing 5 star service.
