Rebecca and Gedion celebrated their dream wedding at the Key Largo Lighthouse in Key Largo, FL on 5/31/2022. This beautiful wedding began with a beach-side ceremony where approximately 50 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple make it official with a big kiss. The cocktail hour was held immediately after the ceremony at the tiki bar. I played a mix of tropical tunes while they all mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. After Rebecca and Gedion finished their pictures they performed a grand intro and their first dance which was to Queen of Sheba. All of the guests then followed Rebecca and Gedion to the reception tent for dinner. The toasts were given during dinner by a few several family members then the cake cutting ceremony also took place at that time. The dance floor opened up after dinner and they partied non-stop for the rest of the evening. Gedion provided me with a play list of Ethiopian music that I played as the dance floor filled up. So happy to see people dancing to different music than that of what we listen to daily. The closing song for the evening was an Ethiopian traditional wedding favorite and that put a bow on a beautiful Tuesday night keys wedding.
Congrats to Rebecca, Gedion and the entire Mulugeta and Girma families.
Special thanks to the great staff at the Key Largo Lighthouse for always providing exceptional service.
