Wedding and Reception at the Key Largo Lighthouse

Alexis and Nicholas Borger celebrated their dream wedding at the Key Largo Lighthouse in Key Largo, FL on 9/20/2022.  Approximately 40 close friends and family members arrived to the Lighthouse that Tuesday afternoon and were directed to the beach-side ceremony.  After the ceremony all of the guests were invited to the tiki bar for the cocktail hour.  I played a mix of tropical tunes while they all mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. The first dance was held on the dance floor as all of the guests made a big circle for Alexis and Nick.  The first dance was to Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran then Alexis danced with her dad to Kokomo by The Beach Boys and Nick danced with his mom to The Perfect Fan by The Backstreet Boys.  Everyone was invited to the reception tent for a buffet style dinner and the prayer before the meal which was given by John Swenson (family friend).  After dinner the dance floor opened up and I got a chance to play some for Alexis and Nick's favorite tunes.  The surprise dance was for Nick's mom and dad who were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.  I played Love Someone by Lukas Graham and all of the couples joined in.  There was no garter/bouquet toss but they did take the time to cut their beautiful wedding cake for all to enjoy as the dessert.  The closing song for the evening was my all time favorite New York, New York by Frank Sinatra....PRICELESS.
