On Saturday, February 25th I was at the Key Largo Lighthouse Beach for the wedding reception of Houston and Taylor. The ceremony took place around 4:30pm just a few feet from the ocean at the property’s Hidden Beach outdoor venue. The reception area was held on the sand, complete with a swimming pool and a tiki bar. When it was time for introductions, I invited everyone to stand in a large circle under a beautiful pergola as we all welcomed the new Mr. and Mrs. Lowrie to You’re my Best Friend by Queen. Houston and Taylor then embraced each other for their first dance to You by Dan + Shay followed by a very entertaining father daughter dance to It Won’t Be like this for Long by Darius Rucker. Houston then joined his mother on the dance floor for the mother and son dance to You’ll be in my Heart by Phil Collins. During dinner, I played a some motown and easy listening music while the guests enjoyed their meal and the rest of the night was a party with a mix of 90s hip hop, and dance music for all the guests to enjoy. Thank you Houston and Taylor for allowing me to be a part of your special day. It was an absolute pleasure partying with you and your family. - DJ ELOW
