Wedding & and Reception at the Key Largo Lighthouse

On Saturday, July 1st I was at the Key Largo Lighthouse Beach for the wedding reception of Holly and Benjamin. The ceremony took place around 6:00pm just a few feet from the ocean at the property’s Hidden Beach outdoor venue. The reception area was held on the sand, complete with a swimming pool and a tiki bar. When it was time for introductions, I invited everyone to stand in a large circle under a beautiful pergola as we all welcomed the new Mr. and Mrs. Harklau to Salt Shaker by Ying Yang Twins. Holly and Benjamin then embraced each other for their first dance to Without You by Sam Growe. Benjamin then escorted his mother to the dance floor for their mother son dance to Forever Young by Rod Stewart. During dinner, I played a some country and easy listening music while the guests enjoyed their meal and the rest of the night was a party with a mix of alternative rock, country, and dance music for all the guests to enjoy. Guests were also treated to a special performance by the groom’s grandfather as he sang New York, New York by Frank Sinatra.
