Wedding and Reception at The Key Largo Lighthouse / Coral Beach

On Saturday, February 27th I was at the Key Largo Lighthouse Beach for the wedding ceremony and reception of Kyle and Whitney. The ceremony took place at 4:30pm just a few feet from the ocean at the property’s Coral Beach outdoor venue. The groom along with his groomsmen and the bridal party walked to the altar to an acoustic cover of Wait by M83, followed by the bride who walked down the aisle to Phone Call by Jon Brion. Once the two were pronounced husband and wife, the new Mr. and Mrs. Atkerson celebrated together while singing Young Blood by The Naked and Famous. The reception area was held on the sand, complete with a swimming pool and a tiki bar. The large canopy area for dinner was decorated with sea foam green uplighting from Eddie B and Company. When it was time for introductions I invited everyone to stand in a large circle as we all welcomed Kyle and Whitney to The Next Episode by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. The couple then embraced each other for their first dance to Yellow Light by Of Monsters and Men. During dinner, I played a few jazzy pop songs while the guests enjoyed their meal and the rest of the night was a party with a mix of pop, hip hop, and 90s for all the guests to enjoy. Before the night was over we lit some sparklers and handed them out to all the guests while Kyle and Whitney danced in the middle. Thank you Kyle and Whitney for allowing me to be a part of your special day. It was an absolute pleasure partying with you and your family.
