Ruby and Jaime Delamerced celebrated their wedding at the Lago Mar Country Club in Plantation, FL on 2/27/2018. Approximately 50 guests arrived at Lago Mar and were directed to the indoor ceremony. Ruby and Jaime sealed their love with a kiss then invited everyone to the cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers. I played a mix of tropical tunes while they all enjoyed drinks and appetizers. I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 pink colored, LED, wireless up-lights provided by Eddie B & Company. As the guests entered the ballroom and found their seats I played Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars for the grand entrance. Ruby and Jaime danced to Good Times, Bad Times by Edie Brickell as the first dance then Jaime danced with his mom to What A Wonderful World by L. Armstrong. J.C. (best man) gave a brief toast then the first of a 3 course meal was served. I played a mix of easy listening tunes during dinner then I kicked it up a notch after dinner. I did not have a play list but I did take a few requests from the guests. I played a mix of top 40, disco, classic rock and latin favorites. As the evening progressed we did have a cake cutting ceremony and the garter/bouquet toss. The closing song for the evening was my all time favorite New York, New York by Frank Sinatra...PRICELESS!! Congrats to Ruby, Jaime and the entire Delamerced family.
Special thanks to the staff at Playa Lago for their excellent service.
