Wedding and Reception at The Lighthouse Point Yacht Club

On Saturday October 1st, 2011 I Played for Avril and Brian Zamparo (general manager of PF Changs/ Boca Raton) and 100 guests at the Lighthouse Yacht Club. The ceremony was held outside by the dock where all the  yachts provide a beautiful background for all to enjoy. Avril and her bridesmaids walked to Canon in D and after they sealed their vows with a kiss I played Arrival Of The Queen of Sheba for the recessional. Cocktail reception was held on the outside patio where friends and family mingled and enjoyed one hour of tropical steel drum music. I introduced the bridal party to B.E.P. and for the newlyweds it was OMG by Usher. Their first dance was "It Had To Be You" by Harry Connick Jr. During dinner Avril danced with her father to "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts, and Brian danced with his mother to "What A Wonderful World" by Louie Armstrong. During dinner I played a lot of Italian classics from Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra ,and Dean Martin. For dancing, it was a mix of tunes from the 60's to the present day, and this group liked to dance. Avril and Brian cut their cake to "Love and Marriage" by ole blue eyes Fran Sinatra, and the bouquet/garter ceremony was a variety of tunes and done a little different. Brian handed out 12 garters to all the single guys and they all got to put them back on the leg of one of the brides maids (Lisa), who is Brian's sister. Trust me, it was a surprise to everyone! We ended the evening with Dirty Bit/Time of My Life and this group of festive party goers still wanted to dance!
