On Saturday June 16th, 2012 I played for a wedding at the Lighthouse Point Yacht Club for Sandy and Derek Ramsay and 85 friends and family members. We started with the ceremony outside by the docks next to all the beautiful yachts. It was a sunny and breezy day, for the ceremony music I played "Beautiful In My Eyes" by Joshua Kadison for the bridal party to walk to and Sandy chose "Canon in D" for herself. The ceremony included a song sung live "At Last" by Doug Ramsay (Grooms uncle), during the sand ceremony. For the recessional I played The Four Seasons "Sporing". After the cocktail reception I introduced the bridal party to "Rock N Roll" part 2 by Gary Glitter, and the newlyweds to a techno classic "Get Ready For This". The first dance "Can't Help Falling In Love" was also sung live by Doug Ramsay as was the father/daughter dance "Wonderful World" and the groom/mother dance "In My Life". The father of the groom Pete Ramsay joined his brother Doug to sing a duet for the groom/mother dance. I dedicated "Coor My World to Sue and Jim May, parents of the bride.....it was their wedding song. The music format was all 60's, 70's, and 80's. The bride and groom weren't that big on dancing so I catered my music to the guestsm that liked to dance and followed a play list that was sumitted to me. For the cake cutting I played "How Sweet It Is" and the final song was "Closing Time" by Semisonic. The happy couple are off to the Blue Ridge Mountains in Georgia. Congrats to Sandy & Derek, I wish you all the best! DJ/MC Eddie B!
