Wedding and Reception at the Lighthouse Point Yacht Club

Aimee and Joe Cooke celebrated their wedding at the Lighthouse Point Yacht Club in Lighthouse Point, FL on 5/25/2018.  Approximately 120 close friends and family members arrived to the yacht club that Friday afternoon and were directed to the indoor ceremony in the Commodore Room.  The cocktail hour followed after the ceremony and as all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers I took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 Royal Blue, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights and our "Mirror Me" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company.  When it was time for everyone to enter the ballroom I lined up the 24 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Aimee chose Uptown Funk by B.Mars for the bridal party entrance and 24k by B.Mars for her and Joe's entrance.  The first dance was to My Best Friend by Tim McGraw then Aimee danced with her dad to Butterfly Kisses by B. Carlisle and Joe danced with his mom to Through The Years by Kenny Rogers.  Everyone found their seats then Janine (maid of honor) and Sean (best man) gave the toasts and the reception was under way.  Aimee did provide me with a play list that included top 40, country, 80s and 90s hits and funk.  Great mix of genres for her fun/energetic guests!!  They really danced all night until the cake cutting ceremony (no garter/bouquet toss)...I love seeing the bride and groom having fun on the dance floor.  The last song for the evening was Closing Time by Semisonic and that put a bow on another amazing wedding at the Lighthouse Point Yacht Club.  Congrats to Aimee, Joe and the entire Cooke and Adler families.
