Karina and Ricky Santiago celebrated their wedding at the Living Sculpture Sanctuary in Davie, FL on 12/5/2019. This is an open air venue so all of the events were held outdoors. The ceremony which was witnessed by approximately 80 close friends and family members was perfect and after the happy couple tied the knot everyone was invited to the cocktail hour. I played a mix of tropical tunes while all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. Soon everyone was invited into the reception area for the grand entrance. Karina chose Take It To Da House by Trick Daddy for the bridal party intros and P.S.A. by Jay-Z for her and Ricky's intro. The first dance was to If I Ain't Got You by Alicia Keys then Karina danced with her dad to A Wish Is A Dream Your Heart Makes (Instrumental version) and with her step-dad to You'll Be In My Heart by Phil Collins. Ricky then danced with his mom to Amor De Madre by Victor Manuelle then all of the guests found their seats and prepared for a buffet style dinner. Ricky's dad gave the blessing of the meals then Karina's mom and dad gave the 2 toasts. Karina did provide me with a small play list and asked me to play to her guests and to have fun. Well needless to say that after dinner the dance floor got hot!! It was a chilly evening but if you wanted to warm up then the dance floor was the place to be. I played a mix of top 40, heavy latin favorites and a few group dances. There was no garter/bouquet toss but the happy couple did cut their beautiful wedding cake. As the evening progressed I took even more requests and ended the evening with Karina's special request of Last Dance by Donna Summer. Congrats to Karina, Ricky and the entire Santiago, Mello and Feliciano families.
Special thanks to the management and staff at the Sanctuary for always providing excellent service.
