On 10/12/13 I was at the Long Key Nature Center in Davie for the wedding of Richard & Christina Vanderwyde. The ceremony was outside in the natural setting. Our own Flamenco guitar player "Ricky B" from Eddie B. Company played the pre-lude and ceremony music. Cocktail hour took place in the same room as the reception hall with the sounds of Top 40 and classic Country music. The wedding party and guests were all dressed to impress in western attire for a night of boot stomping fun. I introduced the wedding party and happy couple to "ESPN'S Jock Jams", then Richard & Christina had their first dance to "Tangled Up In You" by Stained. Toasts took place after then the buffet dinner was served with the same sounds of country music. The 1st father/daughter dance took place to "I Loved Her First" by Heartland. The mother/son dance was next to "All Of You" by DJ Keo. The 2ND father/daughter dance was to "He Didn't Have To Be" by Brad Paisley. After a few minutes into the dance I mixed in "I'm On A Boat"for a fun dance then mixed the original back in to finish it off.....lot's of laughs! After dinner I picked up the tempo for dancing, along with a lot of boot stomping Country line dancing. From Blake Shelton...Big & Rich...Keith Urban...with a mix of Top 40...70/80/90's dance..rap..and rock. The party stopped for the cutting of the cake to "Grow Old With You" by Adam Sandler. The garter removal was next to "One Hot Mama" by Trace Adkins....Bouquet toss was to "Dirty" by Christina Aguilera...Garter toss was to "Who Let The Dogs Out"...The lucky single couple was seated to put on the garter to "Sex You Up" by Color Me Bad......back to dancing and line dancing till the end with the last song being "Time Of My Life" by B.E.P....Best Wishes to Richard & Christina on a fun country wedding...Thanks Roberto (D.J./M.C.
