Wedding and Reception at the Margaritaville

Cassandra and Ryan De Freitas celebrated their dream wedding at Margaritaville in Hollywood, FL on 10/18/2019. Approximately 120 close friends and family members arrived at the hotel that Friday early evening and were directed to the 11th floor for the ceremony. Cassandra and Ryan recited their vows overlooking the Atlantic Ocean..what a spectacular view!! After the ceremony all of the guests were invited to the 9th floor for the cocktail hour and the reception. I played a mix of tropical tunes while everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. Myself and Chris also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 royal blue, wireless, LED up-lights, dance floor lights, a monogram with their names and the date and our "Open Air" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company. As the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 12 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Cassandra chose Pop That by French Montana for the bridal party intros and Fuego by Bad Bunny for her and Ryan's intro. The first dance was a mix of Perfect by Ed Sheeran and La Mejor De Todas by Valentino then Cassandra danced with her dad and Ryan danced with his mom to Vivir Lo Nuestro by India and M. Anthony. Everyone found their seats then Let and James gave the toasts right before Cassandra and Ryan thanked everyone for attending their big day. The first of a 3 course meal was service and the reception was under way. Cassandra did provide me with a great play list that included top 40, latin favorites, 80s and 90s dance hits and hip-hop & R&B. What an amazing group of guests!! I had so much fun watching them fill the dance floor all night. Cassandra and Ryan were the stars of the show and they would not leave the dance floor. We did have a cake cutting ceremony and the garter/bouquet toss as the evening progressed but the dance floor was the place to be. For the closing songs I played one of my favorite salsas...Caballo Viejo by Roberto Torres and my all time favorite last song New York, New York by Frank Sinatra. What a way to end a perfect wedding!!
