Lauren and Marvin Garcia celebrated their wedding at the Harbor Beach Marriott in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 4/30/2021. Approximately 125 close friends and family members arrived to the Marriott that Friday evening and were directed to the outdoor ceremony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. After the happy couple tied the knot all of the guests were invited to the cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers. I played a mix of tropical tunes and I also decorated the ballroom with 20 amber, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 26 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Lauren chose Uptown Funk by B. Mars for the bridal party intros and Gozadera by Gente De Zona for her and Marvin's intro. The first dance was to Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You by G. Benson then Lauren danced with her dad to Something Stupid by Frank Sinatra and Marvin danced with his mom to Amor Eterno by Rocio Durcal. The toasts were given by Nicole (maid of honor) and Lazaro (best man) then Lauren's dad Mr. Moliver gave the welcoming speech. Jeffrey Gibson gave the blessing of the meals then everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal. Lauren did provide me with a playlist that included top 40, classic rock, latin favorites and 80s and 90s dance hits. Perfect mix of genres of this very fun/energetic group of guests. After dinner the dance floor filled up very quickly and they only took a break for the cake cutting ceremony and the garter/bouquet toss. The closing song for the evening was No Hay Cama Pa Tanta Gente by El Gran Combo. Perfect ending to a PERFECT wedding.
Congrats to Lauren, Marvin and the entire Garcia and Moliver families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Marriott for always providing 5 star service.
