On Saturday April 21st, 2012 I played for Amanda and Aaron Evans and 200 friends and family members at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort. Since mother nature didn't cooperate we had to move the ceremony indoors. For ceremony music, Amanda chose "Canon in D" for the bridal party and "Ode To Joy" for herself. The recessional was "Trumpet Tune and Air", and from there everyone was invited to a cocktail reception on the ocean view patio. The reception took place in the Ocean View ballroom, and it looked marvelous with the Royal Blue uplighting we provided along with LED dance floor lights. Eddie B & Company also provided a plasma screen set up for a DVD photo montage of Amanda's and Aaron's lives. From the time I introduced the bridal party to "I Gotta Feeling", 200 plus guests were in a very up beat and festive mood. The first dance was choreographed to "The Best Is Yet To Come" by Michael Buble. Then Alan Schommer (F.O.B.), made his welcome speech and added a little humor. The toasts were done after a delicious sit down dinner and then I presented the father/daughter dance which was "Unforgettable" and the groom/mother dance which was "The Man You've Become". For the cake cutting ceremony it was "Lucky" by Jason Mraz. The music play list that Amanda provided for me was a mix of 60's, 70's, and 80's classics right up to the most popular songs you here on the air today. I want to say two thumbs up to Courtney Wagner (catering director), and her staff for a job well done....as always. We ended the night with "I Had the Time of My Life" and "Save the Last Dance For Me", by Michael Buble. This was an enjoyable evening for me and I want to say thanx to Amanda & Aaron for making me a part of this celebration!.......DJ/MC Eddie B!
