On Friday April 12th, 2013 I was at the Marriott Harbor Beach Hotel for Katie and Ian English and 80 friends and family members from the Philadelphia area. The evening started with a ceremony on the terrace over looking the ocean. It was a balmy breezy day as the bridal party walked to "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" and Katie walked to "Canon In D". During the candle lighting I played "I Can Only Imagine" by Mercy Me and for the recessional it was "From This Moment". Since this was a destination wedding I played a mix of steel drum music for the cocktail hour which was also held on the Ocean Terrace. Then the guests were invited to the Ocean View Ballroom which was highlighted with pink wireless LED up lights, LED dance floor lights, and a Photo Booth, all provided by Eddie B & Company. I introduced the bridal party to "I Gotta Feeling" and Katie and Ian to "Crazy In Love". Their first dance was "Amazed" by Lonestar and then Katie danced with her father Randy to "Daddy's Perfect Angel" by T Carter Music. Ian followed up with a dance with his mother Lori to "The Perfect Fan" by the Backstreet Boys. This was a very festive group of party goers from the north and after dinner the dance floor rolled for two and a half hours! I played mostly Top 40 club hits with a few classics mixed in like Van Morrison, Bon Jovi, Journey, and some Michael Jackson. The cake was cut to "How Sweet It Is" and Ian removed the garter to "Hot In Here" and tossed it to "Raining Men". Katie tossed her bouquet to "Single Ladies, and for the reversal I played "I'm Too Sexy"! There were also 2 giant 10 foot screens set up with a photo montage of the newlyweds playing most of the night. The photo booth was busy the entire evening with all of the guests being creative with the party favors and props. The final song was a classic by AC/DC "You Shook Me All Night Long". I want to say hats off to Katie and her staff at the Marriott for their hospitality! Congrats and all the best to Katie and Ian....DJ/MC Eddie B!
