On Saturday June 1st, 2013 at the
Marriott Town Center in Boca Raton is where Justin
and Korinne got married inside the main ballroom in front of 115 friends and
family. As the bridal party walked down the aisle, I was asked to play Christina
Perri's piano version of A Thousand Years. The bride walked down the aisle to the
piano version of Kenny G's The Wedding Song. Once pronounced husband and wife,
the both of them smiled and walked happily together down the aisle to Crazy
Train by Ozzy. Beautiful ceremony and couple on a beautiful day.
During
cocktail hour I was asked to play up beat music as the guests enjoyed the sounds
of Jason Mraz, Bruno Mars, Michael Buble, Blondie and many other upbeat
sounds.
As I lined up and introduced the bridal party along with the
bride and groom into the grand ballroom which was to Lovers in Japan by Coldplay.
Then the toasts began
with the father of the bride and then both sets of maid of honors and best men.
Following the toasts the food stations was served as we opened the PHOTO BOOTH
provided by Eddie B and Company.
I played for dinner from the requested
list, Just The Two Of Us, I Hope You Dance, Beautiful Day, Chicken Fried,
Hanging By A Moment and many more from the brides requested list. Country music
by T. McGraw, Mike Snow, Lady Antebellum, Lynyrd Skynrd and many more party and
dinner songs.
After dinner the bride and groom did the first dance to
This Years Love by David Gray. The father/daughter dance was to Unforgettable
and the mother/son to My Wish by Rascal Flats.
Then the dancing began and
everything was played. From the Wobble, Suavemente, requests such as Don Omar,
LMFAO, Will I am, Usher, Cupid shuffle and many more. Cotton Eye Joe and a party
line express was even created.
The party was AWESOME as the evening came
to a close, the guests were gathered in a circle and sang Piano Man by Billy
Joel and Don't Stop Believing by Journey. They danced all evening...
The
cake cutting was cut to I Wanna Grow Old With You by Aam Sandler. Then the
garter / bouquet to Sex in the City and Legs by ZZ Top. After the garter and
bouquet were tossed into the crowd. Then the dancing continued til the very last
second of the evening.
The bride sent me a text the following day to inform me
of what a great time she and the groom had. They will let everyone know on
The Knot with her review she informed me of.
This party was one that nobody
will forget for a very long time.... The music and the atmosphere was
awesome.....
A GREAT time was had by all....
If you have not
considered the photo booth, you need to. Everyone loved it!!!
Off on
there honeymoon and for me the VIRTUAL DJ MARC EVANS onto the next wedding to
party and create memories that will last a lifetime.
