Angie and Bill Dwyer celebrated their wedding at the Hollywood Beach Marriott in Hollywood, FL on 5/17/2014. Even though the weather was nice (slightly breezy), Angie decided to take the weather stress out of the equation. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were held in-doors and the approximate 120 guests appreciated that. After a beautiful ceremony all of the guests were treated to a cocktail hour where they enjoyed drinks, appetizers and tropical tunes. The wedding package that Angie and Bill chose included 24 lavender colored, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights and a 50 inch plasma DJ booth that was used for a photo montage during the reception all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the grand ballroom we played the slide show and ran it throughout the evening. Angie chose White Stripes by Seven Nation Army for the bridal party intros and Thrift Shop by Maclemore for her and Bill's intro. The first dance was to I Won't Give Up by Jason Mraz then Angie danced with her dad to Lucky Man by Montgomery Gentry and Bill danced with his mom to Forever Young by Rod Stewart. The toasts were given by Ashley (maid of honor) and John (best man) then everyone settled in for a 3 course meal. Angie and Bill did not provide me with a play list and trusted my judgment when it came to the music selection. I played a mix of top 40, EDM, classic rock, hip-hop, r&b, country, disco and 80's dance hits. This was a classic energy filled, hype wedding with non-stop dancing. It reminded me how lucky I am to be able to enjoy my job so much. For the garter/bouquet toss, Bill asked me to toss him a football so he can put the garter on it before he tossed it to the single guys. First time for that move for me!!!!! As the night progressed Angie and Bill cut the wedding cake and we performed an anniversary dance. The last song for the evening was Closing Time by Semisonic and all of the guests gather on the dance floor with the happy couple. Congrats to Angie, Bill and the entire Gonzalez and Dwyer families. Special thanks to the management and staff at the Marriott for once again providing excellent service.
