On Saturday April 20, 2013 at the Marriott Hotel in Miami Beach is where Shea and Charilynn got married outside on the patio in front of 75 friends and family. As the bridal party walked down the aisle, I was asked to play Elvis, It's Now or Never. When the bride walked down the aisle I played , Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis. Once pronounced husband and wife, I played "I walk the Line" by Johnny Cash. Great choice as they smiled and walked happily together down the aisle.
During cocktail hour I was asked to play only Johnny Cash Music, all of his top hits.
Walking into a well lit room of Ruby Red wireless LED up lights provided by Eddie B & Company, I lined up and introduced the bridal party to "Enter Sandman" from Metallica and the bride and groom to "Sad But True" by Metallica. The bride and groom proceeded to do their first dance to "Crash Into Me" by the Dave Mathews Band and then I asked everyone to join in.
The toasts were given my the MOH and BM and then the prayer by the Father of the bride. Appetizer and salad was served and the music played was Beatles only.
The bride and groom then danced with there parents, the bride danced to Al Martino, Daddys Little Girl and the Groom to In My Life by the Beatles.
During dinner I played All Frank Sinatra songs.
Then the dancing began and everything was played. From the Wobble, Suavemente, requests such as Don Omar, LMFAO, Will I am, Usher, Cupid shuffle and many more. The party started off slow but then ended up with a packed dance floor.
The cake cutting was to Love and Marriage By Frank Sinatra. Then the garter / bouquet to Girls, Girls, Girls, Cherry Pie, and Sharp Dressed Man. After the garter and bouquet were tossed into the crowd, the dancing continued til the very last second of the night.
The last songs played were I had the time of my life both new and old versions and then New York, New York.
A GREAT time was had by all.....
Off on there honeymoon and for me the VIRTUAL DJ MARC EVANS onto the next wedding to party and create memories that will last a lifetime.
