Wedding and Reception at the Marriott Hotel / Pompano Beach
Saturday March 21st at the Pompano Beach Marriott on the sand over looking the ocean is where Michael and Allison became one in front of family and friends on a beautiful sunny day.
Over the Rainbow played for the bridal party and the bride as they walked down the aisle. Once pronounced husband and wife and they kissed, I played Beautiful Day by U2 as they walked back down the aisle with all of there children and gathered as one happy family.
During cocktail hour, steel drum music was provided by Eddie B and Company with steel drummer Brian Henry on the pans providing everyone with toe tapping island music!
Once the reception room was opened, all the guests and all the kids gathered in the room for the entrance with Mike and Allison. As i introduced each one of the 5 kids I played a different song for each of them and then introduced the bride and groom to Let's Get The Party Started. The first dance was to Make You Feel My Love by Garth Brooks. The party had some toasts and then lunch was served.
Once the meals were over the bride and groom with all their friends danced the entire afternoon to every line dance from the Macarena, Cupid Shuffle, The Wobble, Cotton Eye Joe and the Electric Slide. There was 30 kids along with the adults and the party was nothing but a dance party. The cake cutting song was to Happy Together by The Turtles and the bride through her bouquet to Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.
Great Saturday afternoon event for all and the bride and groom appreciated all of it with DJ Marc Evans
