Wedding and Reception at the Marriott Hotel / Pompano Beach

On Saturday, December 11th I was at Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort & Spa in Ft. Lauderdale, FL for the wedding ceremony and reception of Richie and Ravit. The ceremony took place on the beach overlooking the ocean, just before sunset. Stuey Blue a saxophonist from Eddie B & Company was playing some background music as the guests arrived, and during the cocktail hour. Ravit walked down the aisle to Love Me Like You Do covered by Brooklyn Duo. Once the two were pronounced husband and wife, the new Mr. and Mrs. Allen celebrated to Get Down by Backstreet Boys, while the guests cheered. The cocktail hour and reception were held on the 2nd floor terrace of the Fort Lauderdale Marriott, with LED up lights in nice blush color provided by Eddie B & Company.  When it was time for introductions I invited the bridal party to stand in a large circle on the dance floor as we all welcomed Richie and Ravit to a song the bride performed for her husband. The couple then performed a duet with Richie on guitar and Ravit singing a song they wrote together. During dinner, I played a some R&B while the guests enjoyed their meal and the rest of the night was a party with a mix of pop, Israeli music, and party favorites for all the guests to dance to.
