Saturday evening December 30th, 2017 at the Maxwell Room in Ft. Lauderdale is where the wedding for Laura and Sam was held. On the dock of the Maxwell Room over looking the intracoastal is where the ceremony took place. The bridal party walked down the aisle to Dave Mathews, 2 Step. Laura walked with her dad down the aisle to The Piano Guys, A Thousand Years...Once pronounced Mr. and Mrs Kimmel, they walked back down the aisle to Dave Mathews, You and Me.
Cocktail hour was held inside the Maxwell Room due to the cool weather outside and the music requested by the Laura was Dave Mathews Band.
Once cocktail hour concluded, after lining up the bridal party, I introduced them to Black Eye Peas, Let's Get The Party Stared and Ushers, Yeah...Laura and Sam danced in to Marry Me by Bruno Mars. The first dance was I Get To Love you by Ruelle. Then the father of the bride did a speech following the first dance and then danced with his daughter to Everyday, by Dave Mathews. Sam danced with his mom to Simple Man by Van Morrison, followed by the first course.
Once salad ended, the toast were made by the MOH and the BM as dinner was then served.
When dinner was finished, the party began as friends and family loved to dance to all the line dances along with top 40 and hip hop. Cake cutting was to Sugar by Maroon 5 and the garter removal, or as today we call it, ICED where the groom drinks a bottle of Ice from his wife's crotch...
The dancing continued to the last dance of the night which was to, you got it, Dave Mathews band, So Right. I then invited all guests outside for the sparkler send off. Laura approached me at the end of the night with tears in her eyes and thanked me for a wonderful evening and she mentioned it was better then expected. Congrats and Happy New Year from DJ Marc Evans and Eddie B & Company.
