Wedding and Reception at the Maxwell Room

Christina and Daniel Hill celebrated their wedding at the Historic Maxwell Room in Downtown Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 9/27/2019.  The ceremony took place outdoors on the patio.  Approximately 40 guests arrived that Friday evening and witnessed the happy couple tie the knot.  After the ceremony all of the guests were invited into the Maxwell Room for appetizers and drinks.  I played a mix of easy listening tunes while everyone mingled.  As the guests found their seats Christina and Daniel danced to Old Fashioned by CeeLo Green then Cindy (Christina's sister) gave the toasts before a 3 course meal was served.  Christina did provide me with a play list that included top 40, classic rock, 80s and 90s dance hits and oldies.  It was great to see how the dance floor filled up after dinner.  The energy was very high as Christina and Daniel rocked out with their friends and family.  There were no parents dances, no garter/bouquet toss but their was a very special cake cutting ceremony and all of the guests enjoyed a delicious dessert bar.  The closing song for the evening was Last Dance by Donna Summer and that put a bow on a great Friday night Maxwell Room wedding.
