Jennifer and Brian Kavanaugh celebrated their wedding at the Maxwell Room in Ft. Lauderdale,, FL on 11/11/2021. Approximately 50 close friends and family members arrived to the venue that Thursday late afternoon and were directed to the indoor ceremony. After the ceremony most of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers while the happy couple posed for pictures. I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 blue, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. I lined up the 7 member bridal party for the grand entrance while all of the guests gathered around the dance floor. Jennifer chose I Gotta Feeling by The B.E.P. for the bridal party intros and This Will Be by Natalie Cole for her and Brian's intro. The first dance was to Bless The Broken Road by Rascal Flatts then Jennifer danced with her dad to Alan Jackson and Brian danced with his mom to Thank You Mom by Good Charlotte. Everyone found their seats in the dining room and before they enjoyed a 3 course meal, Kevin (best man) gave the toast. After dinner the dance floor opened up and it filled up very quickly. I played a mix of country, classic rock and oldies for all to dance the night away. The dancing continued as the evening progressed and I also took a few requests for country line dances. The cake cutting ceremony was performed then I had everyone gather on the dance floor for the last song. I played Closing Time by Semisonic and that put a bow on a great Thursday night wedding.
Congrats to Jennifer, Brian and the entire Kavanaugh and Suhrland families.
Special thanks to Libby and her amazing staff at the Maxwell Room for always providing 5 star service.
