Wedding and Reception at the Mayfair Hotel / Coconut Grove

Nicole and John Kim celebrated their dream wedding at the Mayfair Hotel in Coconut Grove, FL on 8/18/2018.  This amazing wedding began with an indoor ceremony at the atrium.  Approximately 80 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple tie the knot then they were all invited to the cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers.  I decorated the ballroom with 24 pink up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 13 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  The bridal party entered to 5 different songs then Nicole and John entered to Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke.  The first dance was to Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran then everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal.  The toasts were given by George (best man) and May (maid of honor) and the reception was under way.  Nicole did provide me with a play list that included top 40, hip-hop and r&b, 80s and 90s hits and EDM.  Great mix of genres for this very energetic group of guests.  After the main course they hit the dance floor hard and didn't take a break until the cake cutting and garter/bouquet toss.  I love it when the bride and groom enjoy themselves with their guests and dance the night away.  The closing song for the evening was Daylight by Maroon 5 and that put a bow on a great Saturday night wedding.
