On Saturday February 8th, 2014 I was at the Mirasol Country Club playing for Regina and Timothy Moran and 160 family members and friends. The ceremony was held inside because of a threat of inclement weather, this didn't dampen the spirit of Regina & Tim at all. As guests arrived and were being seated I played a song selection from the Piano Guys chosen by Regina & Tim. For the processional I Played "Home" for the parents and groomsmen, "A Thousand Years" for the brides maids, by the Piano Guys, and then Regina walked to "Turning Page" by Sleeping At Last. There was also a candle lighting ceremony for which I played and instrumental version of "Ave Maria" by Schubert. Once they sealed their vows with a kiss, it was "Somewhere Over The Rainbow' by....you guessed it....The Piano Guys for the recessional. The guests were invited to the lounge/bar area for cocktail hour for which I programed an hour of Adult Contemporary music from different era's and genre's. Then it was time to get the party started! Everyone was invited to the main ballroom which was glowing in Lavender LED up lighting provided by Eddie B & Company. Introduced the bridal party (25 people), to an instrumental version of "I Got A Feeling", and Regina and Tim made their grand entrance to "Party Rock Anthem"! The first dance was to "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri, as guests surrounded the dance floor and watched these two love birds hold one another and sway to the music. Next was a welcome speech given by Carlos Maglione (F.O.B), and I must say it was entertaining and heart warming. A Prayer was given by a friend Christopher Talbbi and then dinner was served. Towards the end of the main course I presented the father/daughter dance "Butterfly Kisses" and the mother/son dance "My Wish". Then we turned it up a notch and the party kicked into high gear! Regina and Tim provided me with a play list that covered a variety of genres of music from different era's, and it kept this festive group shaking their butts until the very last song. The cake was cut to "Today Was A Fairytale", and Tim removed the garter to "Cherry Pie" by Warrant, tossed the garter to "Wild Thing" by Tone Loc. Regina tossed her bouquet to "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun". I also dedicated "Mama's Song" by Carrie Underwood from Regina to her mother Dawn. The final song was "Time Of My Life...Dirty Bit" by the B.E.P.'s, and I could have went another hour because this group was still in party mode all the way! I want to thank Renee, Ryan, and their staff for making me feel at home....A Class Act all the way! DJ/MC Eddie B!
