Alexander and Teresa Luna celebrated their dream wedding at the Morikami Museum in Del Ray, FL on 8/4/2012 along with 50 of their close friends and family members. It appeared like it was going to rain but the weather held up long enough to have the ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors. The Morikami Museum is a very beautiful scenic venue and Alexander and Teresa took advantage of that and posed for pictures before the ceremony. As everyone enjoyed the cocktail hour with drinks and appetizers, Teresa requested that I play a mix of Rat Pack oldies for the guests to enjoy. Alexander and Teresa are a very laid-back couple and wanted to keep the wedding very simple. The bridal party consisted of her dad Frank, her aunt Janet and Alexander's mom Yolanda. No groomsmen, bridesmaids, maid of honor or best man. As they entered into the ballroom they went right into the first dance which was Make You Feel My Love by Adele. There was no parents dances, toast or prayer before the meal. The first course was immediately served after the first dance and Alexander and Teresa walked around to greet all of the guests. I was not provided a play list but Teresa did ask me to read the crowd, take requests and make sure they have a good time. She didn't think that they were going to dance but they sure did!!! I played a mix of 70's, 80's, classic rock, top 40, salsa and merengue. After the cake cutting Teresa did have the bouquet toss for all of the single ladies. The evening ended with a requested song from the guests, Save The Last Dance For Me by Michael Buble. I'm glad everyone got a chance to dance and enjoy Alexander and Teresa's big day together. Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Luna!!! DJ Ray
