Leslie and Enrique Diaz celebrated their wedding at the Morikami Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach, FL on 10/8/2022. This amazing wedding began with an outdoor ceremony over-looking the lake. Approximately 100 guests witnessed the happy couple tie the knot then they were all invited to the cocktail hour. I played a mix of tropical tunes while they all mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. Myself and Cecilia took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 LED, wireless, amber up-lights, dance floor lights, a monogram with their names and the date and our "Open Air" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 18 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Leslie chose Uptown Funk by B. Mars as the bridal party intro song and Pepas by Farruko for her and Enrique's intro. The first dance was to You by Dan + Shay then Leslie danced with her dad to Mi Nina Bonita by V. Fernandez and Enrique danced with his mom to A Mother's Song by T. Carter. All of the guests found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal. The toasts were given by Jonathan (best man) and Leslie's dad Mr. Medina and the reception was under way. Leslie and Enrique requested that I play a nice mix of genres including latin favorites, top 40 and classic Hip-Hop and R&B for their guests to enjoy. The dance floor filled up very quickly and the dancing continued for the entire evening. The cake cutting was performed as the evening progressed and the photo booth was a big hit!!
The closing song for the evening was No Hay Cama Pa Tanta Gente by El Gran Combo and that put a bow on a fabulous Saturday night wedding.
Congrats to Leslie, Enrique and the entire Diaz and Medina families.
Special thanks to Alanna and her amazing staff at the Morikami for always providing excellent service.
